Making saving straightforward
Last year’s change in economic conditions put people’s household budgets under increased pressure. We responded fast to this change – and in a number of different ways. One of the things we did was change our promotional programme.
Promotions play an important role in helping to reduce a customer’s overall spend on everyday items, so we simplified the offers available and made them more helpful for families. We’re using new point of sale materials to highlight deals in store and we have run a number of market-leading promotions over the year.
This new approach has proved a great success with our customers – the promotions we ran in the lead up to Christmas helped us record our busiest trading day ever.
